Agenda

Timings Sessions
09:00 AM - 09:30 AM Registration and Demonstration Viewing
09:30 AM - 10:00 AM Chief Guest Address by Shrimati Ujjwala Karle
10:00 AM - 10:45 AM Keynote - NI's Vision to help The Automotive Industry 'Accelerate Towards Vision Zero'
The automotive industry globally shares the ambition of a world with zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion - 'Vision Zero'. Two critical roadblocks between here and there remain: testing the new software-defined capabilities in the car and building the trust of a doubtful consumer market. We believe test is the key enabler for accelerating timelines regardless of the component involved. Ensuring the safe and reliable operation of an autonomous vehicle is a complicated process. At NI, we understand not only the individual requirements of the vehicle components but also how they harmonize. Though each element has its own technology and supply chain requirements, the interdependency is undeniable. NI is here to help bridge the gap between the test needs across the entire automotive supply chain—at a speed our competition cannot meet—while building consumer trust along the way.
10:45 AM - 11:00 AM Tea Break
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Enabling 'Left Shift of Validation' and Seamlessly Transitioning from Virtual Validation to Physical Validation
Accelerating embedded software development and identifying bugs earlier are key requirements within the automotive industry—and are increasingly important with the focus on software defined vehicles (SDVs). Utilizing simulation techniques and virtualization technology are key enablers in this time-to-market race, along with their seamless integration into validation methodologies and toolchains for MIL, SIL, and HIL. In this session, we will cover new enhancements to NI toolchain to support the integration of Virtual ECUs and seamlessly transition between virtual validation and physical validation stages.
12:00 PM - 13:00 PM Maximizing Test Coverage with NI ADAS Replay and HIL Test
Validating perception algorithms on ADAS ECUs is key to ensuring the safety and reliability of ADAS and AD functions in the vehicle. The industry must efficiently scale test coverage by implementing methodologies such as replay and HIL, which moves testing from the road to the lab. Replay test requires replicating the driving scenarios by injecting real-world road data exactly as it was acquired in the vehicle to test the complex algorithms and ensure the safe operation of ADAS and AD functions. In this session you will learn how to inject multiple high-resolution cameras, lidar, and radar data into an ADAS ECU within our NI ADAS replay system and switch from replay to closed-loop HIL techniques with a unified system, improving your ADAS/AD product performance and accelerating time to market.
13:00 PM - 14:00 PM Lunch Break
14:00 PM - 15:00 PM Accelerating EV Motor and Traction Inverter Validation using Model Based Approaches
From model validation to field testing, and all phases in between, NI’s expertise in optimization through model-based development and test asset reuse is key to accelerating EV drive validation. Traction inverter design and validation engineers need to test hybrid and electric vehicle inverters for software and electrical functionality at the signal level with a closed-loop simulator. By simulating vehicle dynamics, battery, and electro-mechanical models on NI FPGAs, the Inverter Test System provides more comprehensive inverter controller testing and reduces costly physical testing time.
15:00 PM - 16:00 PM Automotive Data Acquisition
Real-time data acquisition, logging and control using the Free No coding software "NI FlexLogger Lite".
16:00 onwards Networking Time
